About

Oh, hi. I didn’t see you there. I’m Jessica, and welcome to my blog.

I’m a baby mama, writer, editor, wifey, yogi, green media maven and city hippie (you know, the kind that pays a mortgage and enjoys personal hygiene), fresh off a layoff and unable—or unwilling, perhaps—to unshackle myself from my beloved MacBook. I can also amuse small children (my husband included) by crossing my eyes and moving each one independently, but that’s beside the point. I’m a rural Ohio girl who’s called Los Angeles home for the past decade.

Thanks to past editorial gigs at LIME.com, Whole Life Times, Yogi Times and Foam magazine, I’ve learned a thing or two about livin’ la vida eco, but I’ve also learned that folks are green-fatigued out the wazoo and don’t want to be beaten about the head with all the eco-blahbity blah blah roaming the Interwebs. So I’ll take it easy on you, because I know how much we all dig on unsolicited advice and greener-than-thou proselytizing. This is just me, sharing my day-to-day with the five friends and family who will read this, and perhaps a smattering of random strangers. Uh, HI!
